There is something really special about seeing families come back through my studio doors, especially when it has been a couple of years. Watching children grow, change, and come back with even bigger personalities is one of the best parts of what I do.
This recent pop-in session at my Harlow photography studio was exactly that. A returning family came in to update their sibling photos, and I honestly could not believe how much the boys had grown.

When families return after a couple of years, there is always that little moment at the start where everyone is finding their feet again. But it did not take long at all.
These two brothers were so polite, so full of energy, and honestly just so much fun to photograph.
We quickly moved into what I do best, keeping things relaxed and playful. The studio filled with laughter as they started giggling together, bouncing around, and just enjoying the moment.
The Bubble Gun Always Wins
Out came the famous studio bubble gun, which is always a favourite.
Within seconds, we had bubbles floating everywhere, the boys jumping, reaching, laughing, and trying to catch them mid-air. These are the moments I love capturing, the real, natural reactions that you simply cannot pose.
It is never about standing still and smiling perfectly. It is about connection, movement, and those genuine little bursts of joy.
