Im worried my child will loose interest or be to shy how can you help with this?
As a photographer, I always try to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere during photo shoots, especially when working with children. One of the best ways to achieve this is by tapping into their interests and personalities.
So, if you could let me know what your child/children are interested in, I can incorporate that into the session. For example, if your child loves animals, we could bring some animal props to the shoot. If they are into sports, we could bring some equipment that they could pose with. This will not only make them feel more comfortable during the session, but it will also create more genuine smiles and laughter.
As for what might make them laugh or smile, I usually try to bring out the playful side of children by asking them to make silly faces, jump or twirl around. I find that encouraging them to be themselves and have fun often leads to the best photos.
Ultimately, the goal of the photo shoot is to capture your child/children in a way that is true to who they are and creates lasting memories. So, if you have any additional pointers or ideas on what might make them smile or feel comfortable, feel free to share them with me.
