Cake Smash & Splash Photoshoots are the perfect way to celebrate baby’s Birthday with lots of fun, mess and giggles.
Sessions last about 1 hour and are held at My Studio in Harlow. Scroll down for all the info, how to find me and to book your session.

What happens at a Cake Smash & Splash?
A cake smash photoshoot is a very popular fun way to document your little ones very first birthday.
Your child can enjoy getting messy and exploring textures when they are presented with their birthday cake.
The aim is to capture them having an amazing time smashing into the cake, getting covered in icing and cake whilst snapping all their fun expressions.
In addition to Cake Smash photos there will be a Bath time splash session which is their to let little one get cleaned up but also is a fantastic addition to the gallery with the photos of them splashing, having fun in the bubbles and interacting with the bubbles from the bubble machine.
Step 1 - Cute Shots
The First part is about settling in little one so I recommend bringing along an outfit of your own for some “clean” shots where we will get some gorgeous classic shots
If you would like some shots with siblings and parents too we can do this at this stage.
Step 2 - Cake Smash!
Once little one is settling in we will get them into a cute “cake smash” outfit ready for the messy fun to start. We will move across onto a different set that will be set up in the colour theme of your choice which we will discuss before your shoot. I'll provide a giant cake for your little one to dig into and we will capture all the fun from little one finding there way around their birthday cake right up to smashing it to pieces and getting all the fun reactions!
Step 3 - Splash Time!
After the cake smash, we'll move on to the Splash session, where your little one can enjoy a soothing bath and surround little one with lots of bubbles using my bubble machine .little one can be stripped down and whilst supervised in the bath tub I'll capture every moment of this adorable experience, as your little one plays and splashes in the water. I'll also make sure to capture some precious family photos while you play together during this time as well.
Step 4 - the reveal!
Once your session is all done and I have finished your photos, I will provide you with your own online digital gallery to view and download every single image from your session at no additional cost.
You will also be able to order physical prints through this gallery with pricing starting from £10 for a 6x4 print and £30 for 8x12(A4)

Step 2 - Cake Smash Session with cake provided in choice of your colour on themed backdrops
Step 3 - Splash time in the mini bath & Bubbles
Pricing is From £180 Plain coloured back drop of your choice with cake
additional extra options will be provided to you upon confirming your session date and time. These range from Balloon Garlands to personalised wooden spoons.
💻 I offer a comprehensive photo package where ALL the images from your session are included in the price. You can easily download and keep them forever through an online gallery.
🫧I have a Bubble machine so no need to bring any bubbles along !
