Boudoir photography without the pressure

You do not need to arrive already feeling confident or knowing how to pose. Your session is completely guided, from choosing what to wear to the position of your hands, expression and the smallest adjustments that help you look and feel your best.

Before selecting your session date, we will meet for a complimentary, in-person consultation at my private studio in Moot House, Harlow. This gives us time to get to know each other, discuss what you would like from the experience and answer any questions before we begin planning.

The Boudior Experience

£595

A private, confidence-led experience for women who want beautiful photographs without awkward posing, complicated packages or unexpected image costs.

Professional hair and makeup are completely optional and are not included in the session price. Several independent hair, beauty and wellbeing businesses are located within walking distance of the studio.

Is a Boudoir Session Right for Me?

A boudoir session could be for you if:

✔ You want to do something entirely for yourself

✔ You are celebrating a birthday, wedding or personal milestone

✔ You would like to reconnect with your confidence

✔ You want to create a personal gift for your partner

✔ You are simply curious to see yourself from a different perspective

You do not need to:

✔ Have a particular body type, shape or size

✔ Lose weight or change anything about yourself first

✔ Know how to pose

✔ Wear traditional lingerie or show more than feels comfortable

✔ Arrive already feeling confident

✔ Give permission for your photographs to be shared publicly

Your clothing, level of coverage and the overall style of the session will always be planned around what feels right for you. Your photographs remain private unless you give clear permission for specific images to be shared.

How Your Boudoir Experience Works

Step 1
Your complimentary consultation

We begin with an in-person consultation at my studio. This gives us time to get to know each other, discuss any concerns and answer your questions before you decide on your session date.

Step 2

Selecting your date

Once you are ready, we will choose an available date that works for you. Boudoir sessions take place at 11am.

Step 3

Planning your session

We will discuss the style and mood you would like, along with outfit ideas and your preferred level of coverage. I will provide wardrobe guidance, but you do not need to have everything worked out beforehand.

Step 4

Your session

Bring every outfit you are considering, including anything you feel unsure about. I will help you make the final choices and guide you through every pose, expression and adjustment throughout the session.

Step 5

Receiving your photographs

Your final edited images will be delivered through a private online gallery. Every finished image is included, with no additional image-selection costs. You can also order prints through the gallery or directly from the studio.

Prepare Your Way

Professional hair and makeup are completely optional. You are welcome to arrive with your hair natural and no makeup if that feels most like you.

If you would enjoy adding a little extra pampering to the experience, several independent hair, beauty and wellbeing businesses are located nearby.

Hair and beauty within a two to three-minute walk:

• Tiaras Hair & Beauty

You might choose to have your hair or makeup done before the session or arrange a relaxing treatment afterwards. Any appointments, availability and payments are arranged separately and directly with the individual business.

Meet Louise

I’m Louise, the 32-year-old photographer behind Hibbard Photography and Boudoir by Louise. I’m also a mum of two boys, so while I am often mistaken for being younger, I bring plenty of life experience, patience and understanding to the studio.

I have spent years professionally photographing people through many different stages of their lives, from maternity and family sessions to weddings, branding and boudoir. Hibbard Photography is an established Harlow business with more than 90 Google reviews from previous clients.

I understand that booking a boudoir session can feel exciting and intimidating at the same time. Most of the women I photograph are not accustomed to being in front of the camera and arrive feeling unsure about posing, outfits or how they will look.

My role is to make the experience feel comfortable from the very beginning. I will guide you throughout the consultation, planning and session itself, while respecting your boundaries and never asking you to show more than feels right for you.

Alongside my wider professional photography experience, I have completed dedicated boudoir photography training. My approach is relaxed, patient and focused on creating photographs that still feel recognisably like you.

Your privacy matters. Your photographs will never be shared on my website, social media or anywhere else without your clear permission.
