What type of camera will my child need?


Children do not need to bring their own cameras. We provide all the necessary equipment, including kid-friendly point and shoot cameras that are easy and safe for children to use.

The safety of the children is our top priority. Our studio is equipped with child-safe equipment and furniture, and we have a strict policy of never leaving children unsupervised. Additionally, we follow all recommended health and safety protocols.

What is the camper to instructor ratio?


We maintain a low camper to instructor ratio to ensure that each child receives personalized attention. Typically, the ratio will not exceed six children per instructor.

Will my child be taking pictures outside the studio?


Yes, we do have outdoor photography activities planned, but these are conducted in areas adjacent to the studio. Children are always supervised during outdoor activities.

What should my child bring to the camp?


Your child should bring comfortable clothing appropriate for indoor and outdoor activities, a water bottle, and a snack and packed lunch. All photography equipment will be provided by us.

How long is the photography camp each day?


3- 4 hours depending on specific dates

What measures do you take if a child requires medical attention?


Louise is paediatric first aid trained and will be present each day. In case of a medical emergency, we will contact you immediately and take the necessary actions as advised by our established safety protocols.

Can we keep the photos taken during the camp?


Absolutely, children will be provided with a digital copy of their photographs as well as a presentation folder.

How do you accommodate children with special needs?


We strive to be inclusive and ask parents to inform us of any special requirements their child might have so we can make necessary accommodations. It's important for us to discuss this prior to enrollment to ensure the best experience for your child.

Is there a cancellation policy?


We understand that plans can change. We offer a 50% refund for cancellations made up to two weeks before the camp start date this is due to charges being incurred. 


If for any reason you are unable to attend and give us notice at least 1 day prior to starting, your balance can be transferred to the new available workshop or camp slot.

How can I register my child for the photography camp?


You can register your child through our website. We will provide you with all the necessary forms and information to get started.

Ways to get to the studio

-Parking:

parking can be found across the road opposite the library or directly opposite moot house behind the health center. Parking is free for the first hour ( you still need a printed ticket displayed or you can download the parking app 'Mipermit' and use the correct location number for the carpark which can be found on the board or machine in the car park.


-Bus:

There are multiple bus stops outside the studio and depending on which route you will have taken bus number 8 stops right outside the studio.


-Train:

There are two train stations in Harlow


-Harlow Town

From Harlow Town train station get the number 10 bus to the town center and swap onto the number 8 to the bus stop Outside Moot House ( Minchen Road) or Taxi services are available from this train station.


-Harlow Mill

From Harlow Mill train station get the number 508 bus to The Stow Upper, you will then need to walk for around 4 minutes through The Stow Shopping Centre to the studio..
